Melissa Balser Via

Melissa Ann Balser Via, 61, of Stoneville passed away Wednesday, January 1st, 2025 at her home.

A memorial service will be held **Sunday, January 12th, 2025** at 2:00PM at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 1:00-2:00PM

Melissa was born January 27th, 1963 in Rockingham County, North Carolina to Frank and Doris Hicks Balser. She was a member of First Church of the Brethren. Melissa worked as an administrative assistant with a CPA firm for many years. She enjoyed gardening. She loved going to Topsail Island with her family and collecting seashells. Melissa loved spending time with her grandchildren, River and Arabella.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jack Douglas Via, Jr.; daughter, Heather Via Comilloni (Donnie) of Raleigh; son, Jared Via (Dakota) of Reidsville; grandchildren, River and Arabella; mother, Doris Hicks Balser of Eden; brothers, Gary Balser and Johnny Balser of Eden.

Melissa is preceded in death by her father, Frank Balser.
