Melissa Frances Hale

Melissa Frances Hale, 31, of Eden passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023 in Ridgeway, VA.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.

Melissa was born November 25, 1991, in Eden, North Carolina. She was a member of Growing Oaks Baptist Church prior to its closure. Melissa loved her family. Most of all, she loved her son, Tristan.

Surviving are her beloved son, Tristan James Angeli; mother, Tracie Stophel and stepfather, Dwight Stophel; father, Chad Hale; grandmother, Jeanie Hale; aunt, Mary Beth Hale; aunt, Christy Brubaker (Lonnie) and children; step-sister, Cassandra Roesler (David); step-grandmother, Patti Watkins; very special friends, Tray Frazier, Michella Sawyers, Brooke Jones, Shelle Dixon, and Jeff Garett.

Melissa is preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Betty Watkins; uncle, David Watkins; cousin, Brandon Watkins; step-grandparents, Charles and Mary Stophel.
