Maxwell Wilbur Hundley

Maxwell Wilbur Hundley, age 90 passed away on Sunday morning June 20, 2021 at his home.

A graveside service will be held 11 am Wednesday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with visitation to follow.

Maxwell was born July 13, 1930 in Rockingham County to the late James “Willie” Hundley and Viola White Hundley. He was a member of Mayfield Baptist Church and a retiree of American Furniture Company.  Maxwell loved spending time with his family, working in his garden and looking after his cat “Sugar”.

Surviving are wife, Margaret Ann Wood Hundley; daughters, Aletia H. Wilson ,Deborah Foster (Jerry) and Joyce Grubb; sons, Michael Hundley (Janice), William Dillon and Ronald Dillon; sisters, Louise Simpson and Brenda Waddell (Jimmy); 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren , 5 great, great grandchildren and 1 great, great on the way.

Preceding him in death along with his parents, were daughter, Patricia Hundley; brothers, Leonard, Buddy and Paul Hundley; great, great grandson, Kai Guthrie.
