Maxine Allen Eudy

Maxine Allen Eudy, 95, passed away early Saturday morning, December 19, 2020, at UNC-Rockingham Health Care in Eden.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, December 22, at Overlook Cemetery with Pastor Kevin Dunovant officiating. 

Born September 19, 1925 in Ramseur, NC, she was the daughter of the late John Tyler Allen and Lillie Blanche Branson Allen.  She was a retired sewing machine operator for several textile plants in the Albemarle area of NC.  After spending most of her adult life in Albemarle, Maxine and her husband, Raymond, moved to Eden to be closer to their daughter and grandchildren.

She is survived by her only child and daughter, Tonia Eudy Cairo and her husband, Mat, of Eden; six grandchildren, Austin Craven and wife, Kristina, of San Antonio, TX, Drake Craven and wife, Michelle, of Reidsville, Isabela Murray and Zoe Murray of Eden, Jaylyn Cairo Crouch and husband, Danny, of Eden and Madelyn Cairo of Wilmington; great-grandchildren, Brayden Bailey, Ryder Dane Craven, Hadrian Hughey, Aliza Summers and Aurelia Crouch; step-son, Ray Eudy, Jr. of Kannapolis; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond W. Eudy; sisters, Betty Kluttz, Mabel Long, Bonnie Thomas, Mary Sauers; brother, Jack Allen; along with several nieces and nephews.
