Mary Holley Arnold

Mary Holley Arnold, 75, of 78 South Ridge Ct. in Ridgeway, passed away Friday afternoon, August 12, 2011 at her home. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, August 16, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery in Ridgeway. Ms. Arnold was born February 22, 1936 in Franklin County, VA, daughter of the late Theodore Roosevelt and Eva Ann Fisher Holley. She attended Wayside Baptist Church and was a former employee of Pillowtex, with 18 years of service. Surviving are her four sisters, Edith H. Dillon of Eden, NC, Peggy Dillon of Ridgeway, VA, Priscilla Wagoner of Danville, VA and Lizzie Hamm of Eden. brothers, Jack Holley of Ridgeway, VA, Billy Hamm and wife, Charlotte of Mayodan, NC, Rufus Hamm of Ennice, NC, and Joseph Hamm, also of Ennice; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Maynard Arnold.
