Mary Grace Hill Edwards

Mary Grace Hill Edwards, 91 of Eden, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Overlook Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends at other times and her home, 1242 Norman Dr, Eden.

Mary Grace was born December 8, 1933, in Spray, North Carolina, to the late Willie Osborne Hill and Martha Rachel Eggleston Hill. She was a member of Hampton Heights Baptist Church. Mary Grace enjoyed being part of the “Hardee’s Gang” and was a member of Widows of Christ. She enjoyed flowers, working in the yard, picking up sticks, and knitting. Mary Grace was a great cook and made the best corn bread in town.

Surviving are her son, Tony Edwards (Kathy) of Stoneville; grandson, Chad Edwards (Kelly) of Hillsborough; great-grandchildren, Evelyn and Liam Edwards; niece, Debbie Barker McCarty.

In addition to her parents, Mary Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Curtis Edwards; sisters, Thelma Pulliam, Janie Fields, Betty Barker, Catherine Hill; brothers, Russell Hill, Calvin Hill.
