Mary Lou Martin

Mary Lou Cannon Martin, 78, passed away on Friday, April 18th at her residence in Eden, NC.

A Memorial Service will be held at Fair Funeral Home Chapel, Friday, April 25th at 2:00pm. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service, 1:00-2:00pm, also at Fair Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Ridgeview Cemetery immediately after the service.

Mary Lou was born in Rockingham County to the late Henry R. Cannon and Cora McGehee Cannon. She worked as a stocker at Sam’s.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Mary Quinn Gallant (Andre) of Eden; grand-daughter Ashley Fancher (Randy) of Stoneville; sister  Kathy Robertson of Stoneville, NC; brother, Cecil Cannon of Reidsville; grandsons, James Sams of Ridgeway, VA, Rusty Tyler Terry of Wilmington, NC, Brandon Elvis Terry of Lynchburg, VA, Kenny Terry of SC; three great-grandkids; one great-great-grandson; a special friend John Martin and a very good friend “Duke” Curry.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Martin and sons, Kenny Terry and Cotton Terry, and daughter, Sandra Wilson.
