Mary Yvonne Boothe, 89, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, October 23rd at Annie Penn Hospital. Mary is now with her Lord and Savior in Heaven.

A funeral service will be held at Fair Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00pm on Tuesday, October 27th. Visitation will be one hour before the service. The family will receive friends at 1427 Ridge Ave. in Eden, NC.

Mary was born December 27,1936 to the late Jesse M. Boothe and Mary Florence Allen Boothe in Cascade, VA. She was employed and retired from DuPont where she worked in Quality Control. Mary was a member of Willis Memorial Baptist Church in Cascade, VA. She loved the Lord and was a good Christian woman. Some of her favorite things to do for her church were singing in the choir and teaching Sunday School. Mary loved her cats and was always taking in strays.

Mary is survived by her sister’s Geraldine Carter, Joan Denny (Harold); brother’s Frank Delano Boothe (Margaret), Kenneth Boothe (Judy), Jerry Boothe (Lou Ann); sister Janice Reese; numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death are brother’s, Larry Boothe, Ronald Boothe, Terry Boothe; sister’s Barbara Hand and Brenda Land.
