Martha Booth

Martha Jane Sutliff Booth, age 82 of 2479 Price Road, Eden, passed away on Saturday afternoon at Hospice Home of Rockingham County.

 

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Wesleyan Church of Eden with burial to follow at El Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

 

Mrs. Booth was born April 21, 1934 in Leaksville, NC to the late Samuel and Cornelia Lea Sutliff. She was retired from Fieldcrest Mills in the General Office.

 

Preceding her along with her parents were husband, James William Booth, Sr.; grandchild, Mikhail Booth; sister,  Barbara Robertson; brother, Edward Sutliff and son-in-law, David Crane.

 

Surviving are children, James W. Booth, Jr.(Carol) of  Lansing, NC , Janis Crane of Greenville, NC, Jeffrey Booth (Yvonne) of Reidsville, Joseph "Jody" Booth (Martina) of Eden; grandchildren, Jennifer Henry (Mark), Jonathan Crane (Rachel), Sarai Crane, Joshua Booth (Sandra), Trevor Booth; great grandchildren, Amber and Haylee Henry, Blythe Crane, Susanna Booth, Emma Crane; sister Mary Ann Hyler (Bob) of Eden. 

 

The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6 - 8 pm at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home of Jody and Martina Booth, 203 Brandywine Drive, Eden.
