Mark Eugene Ragland

Mark Eugene Ragland, 60, of Eden, went home to be with his Heavenly Father February 17, 2023, at his home.

A graveside service will be held 2pm Friday, February 24, 2023, at Dan View Cemetery in Eden.

Mark was born August 20, 1962, in Eden, NC to Percy Raymond Ragland, Jr. and Nadine “Pat” Gilley Ragland. He worked at Dyer's Sheet Metal for many years. Mark was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle. He enjoyed watching Nascar races, collecting coins and guns, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by those who loved him.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Pamela Estes Ragland; mother, Nadine “Pat” Patterson (Kenneth) of Eden; children, Matthew Ragland of Eden and Taylor Ragland of Eden; grandchildren, Jordan “JJ” Tyler Woods, II, and Tanner James Lee Woods; sister, Jaime Smith (Craig); numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Mark is preceded in death by his father, Percy Raymond Ragland, Jr.; sister, Lisa Dawn Ragland Doyle; paternal grandparents, Percy Ragland, Sr., Elvy Wilkinson; maternal grandparents, Jesse Gilley, Frances Gilley.
