Marianne Lee Kunze

Marianne Lee Kunze, 89, formerly of Devonway Street in Eden, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017, at Brian Center.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, June 22, in Ridgeview Memorial Gardens.  There will be no formal visitation.

Marianne was born May 25, 1928 in Forsyth County, NC, to the late George Alfred Kunze and Minerva Barnette Kunze.  She was a long-time member of First Presbyterian Church in Eden and a retiree of E. I. DuPont, Inc.  Marianne had a heart for helping others and served as a driver for, both, Cancer Society and for veterans who needed transportation to hospitals and doctor's appointments.  

She is survived by several nieces, nephews, loving friends and neighbors.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, George Alfred Kunze, Jr. and her sister, Jane Johnson.
