Margaret Vernon Aheron

Margaret Vernon Aheron, 59, of 704 Oak Street, passed away Monday evening, January 11, 2010 at Morehead Memorial Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, January 14, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Overlook Cemetery. Mrs. Aheron was born February 4, 1950 in Leaksville, NC (now Eden), daughter of the late Homer C. and Elizabeth Alley Vernon. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and was employed by Walmart of Eden. Surviving is her husband, James L. Aheron of the home; cousins, Link, Jimmy, Forest Ray, and Richard Barton, and Charlotte Westling. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Thursday (10 - 11 AM) at Fair Funeral Home.
