Margaret "Tiny" Marie Kendrick Corum

Margaret “Tiny” Marie Kendrick Corum, 72, of Eden passed away February 5, 2024 at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 11am Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden with burial to follow at Overlook Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 10-11am, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.

Tiny was born December 5, 1951, in Patrick County, VA. She was a former member of First Assembly of God and later of New Life Chapel. Tiny loved Jesus. She spent her career in textiles, working as a spinner at Fieldcrest Cannon in Eden for 24 years, and then at Unifi in Madison for 3 years. She was also a homemaker, caring for and raising her two daughters. Tiny loved crafting and Pinterest, and her dog, Piper. She loved her family dearly, and enjoyed spending her time with them.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Sylvia Corum and JoAnn Hoover; grandchildren, Devon Lumpkins and Shae Alcorn; sister, Debbie East; nieces, Michelle Bahena and Dawn East; nephews, Brandon Mitchell, Bradley Mitchell, Brent Mitchell and Steve Sams, Jr.

Tiny is preceded in death by her mother, Sallie Kendrick Mitchell, and her brother, Rickey Mitchell.
