Margaret "Peggy" Young Radford

Margaret Ann “Peggy” Young Radford, 89, passed away April 19th at Ancora Compassionate Care in Reidsville, NC

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 23rd at 11:00am in the First Church of the Brethren.  A visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  Burial will follow immediately in the Danview Cemetery.

Peggy was born January 8, 1935 to the late William Aldine Young and Daisy Sims Young in Rockingham County.  She was a member of the First Church of the Brethren since 1959 to present.                        

Peggy’s son, George W. Radford, Jr. (Leanna) and daughter, Lori R. Bailey (Bryant) are left to cherish the memory of Peggy. Her sisters Doris Roberts (W.T.) and Billie Dean Young. Her grandchildren Meghan Radford Rebuli (Christian), Anna Radford (fiancé Mike), Meredith Radford (Kendall), Mark Bailey and Matthew Bailey (Heather) will also cherish her memory and the time that was spent with their grandmother.

Along with her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, G. Wilford Radford, Sr.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to First Church of the Brethren, 730 Church Street, Eden, NC  27288 and/or Ancora Compassionate Care, 2150 NC 85, Reidsville, NC  27320.
