Margaret "Peggy" Avila Samuels Spor

Margaret ?��Ǩ?�Peggy?��Ǩ�� Avila Samuels Spor, age 93, of Bluffton, SC died Monday, March 9, 2015 at Bloom of Bluffton.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Danview Cemetery in Eden, NC. A luncheon will follow the service at The Morehead-Fair House, 420 Boone Road in Eden.

Mrs. Spor was born on February 24, 1922 in Provincetown, MA, the daughter of the late Sylvester Silva Avila and Emma Meads Avila. She was a lover of country music and was a professional singer with the Montana Caravan. She was an avid bowler and the recepient of numrous trophies. She was loved by her family and friends and was always ready for an adventure.

Mrs. Spor was preceded in death by her first husband, Lewis Edward ?��Ǩ?�Sam?��Ǩ�� Samuels and her second husband, John C. Spor. She is survived by her son, Lewis ?��Ǩ?�Sam?��Ǩ�� Edward Samuels, Jr. and wife,Mary of Hampton, VA; daughters, Diane Ward of Slocomb, AL and Janice ?��Ǩ?�Jan?��Ǩ�� Fierick and husband, Bob of Bluffton, SC; and grandchildren, Heather Rau and husband, Will, John Samuels, Dean Dowling, Mitchell Dowling and wife, Shannon, Jeffrey Ellis, and Matthew Ellis.
