Margaret Reeves Leftwich Joyce

Margaret Reeves Leftwich Joyce, 99 of Greensboro, formerly of Eden, passed away Monday, September 21, 2026 at Countryside Manor in Stokesdale, NC.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

Margaret was born January 28, 1927, to the late Archer A. Leftwich and Hurley Ragsdale Leftwich. She was a former member of Spray United Methodist Church. More recently, she was a member of Guilford College United Methodist Church. She went to Cascade Elementary, graduated Brosville High School, and Averitt College. She earned her degree in accounting. Margaret worked as a clerical accountant for Gunn and Page, LLC.

Surviving are her son, Archer T. Joyce (Pat) and daughter, Leah Joyce Moore (Kenneth); grandsons, Dr. J. Kyle Joyce (Kristen) of Covington, LA, and S. Gray Joyce (Ashley) of Walnut Creek, CA; three great-grandchildren; and nephew, Ronald Gochenour of Eden, NC.

In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Manley Joyce, and her sister, Mary Leftwich Gochenour.
