Margaret Ann Mcdaniel

Margaret Ann McDaniel, 88, formerly of Ruffin, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2016, at Jacob's Creek Nursing Center in Madison.

 

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, April 21, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Danview Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, 6 - 8 PM, at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home of her sister, Lalia Wilson, 106 High Street in Eden.

 

Miss McDaniel was born April 6, 1928 in Draper, North Carolina, to the late James Clifford McDaniel and Luzanie Portis McDaniel.  She was a member of Mayfield Baptist Church and a retiree of Fieldcrest Mills (Karastan Division).

 

She is survived by five sisters, Mamie Taylor of Cascade, VA, Ruth Carmon of Gibsonville, Kathleen Lovings of Greensboro, Carrie Branch of Goose Creek, SC, and Lalia Wilson of Eden; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph McDaniel and four sisters, Pauline Dew, Nora Jean Wolfe, Agnes McDaniel, and Hershey Calliouet.
