Margaret Ann Fagge Dehart

Margaret Ann Fagge DeHart, 83, of Eden passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at Eden Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.

A funeral service will be held Monday, January 29, 2024 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden with burial to follow at Overlook Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 1-2pm, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.

Margaret was born December 14, 1940, in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Ed Fagge and Nawasa Moore Fagge. She worked in the cafeteria for Eden City Schools until her retirement. Margaret loved attending Pleasant View Church in Danbury. She was skilled with a needle and loved to sew and cook, especially bake. Margaret enjoyed shopping and jewelry. Mostly, she cared about her family and loved her grandchildren dearly.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Sherman DeHart; daughter, JoAnna Fain (Travis); grandchildren, Addyson Fain, Memphis Fain, Spencer Fain; sister, Cindy Scott (Carl); numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her son, Mark A. DeHart; sister, Nawasa “Liz” Willmon; brother, Henry E. Fagge.
