Mae Lemons Harris

Mae Frances Lemons Harris age 80 of 2690 Old Leaksville Road, Ridgeway, VA. passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at her home.

A funeral service will be held 2 pm Friday July 5, 2019 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Mt. View Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and at other times at her home.

Mrs. Harris was born May 1, 1939 in Martinsville, VA to the late Charles Lemons and Louise Turner Lemons. She was retired from Blue Ridge Nursing as a Nurse's Aide. In her spare time she enjoyed making quilts, and growing flowers, she had a "green thumb".  Mae loved her family and her cat.

Surviving are husband Obie "Junior" Harris of the home; daughters, Traie and husband Tony of Reidsville; Vickie Blair and husband Wes of Connelly Springs, NC; grandchildren, Mark Hampton Kennon of Reidsville, Atlanta Whittington and husband Patrick of Wyoming and Alexandria Blair of Connelly Springs; brothers, Cecil, Danny, Johnny, Jack and Richard Lemons all of Martinsville and Doug Lemons of Arizonia.
