Lynnita June Hensley Curry

Lynnita June Hensley Curry, 88, of Eden, passed on November 14th, 2021, at UNC Rockingham Healthcare in Eden.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, November 18th, at 11am, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, November 17th, from 5-7pm at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home of Kenny and Michelle Curry, 113 Westfield Rd, Eden NC.

Lynnita was born October 13th, 1933, to the late H.W. Hensley and Thelma Willard Stone.  She attended First Presbyterian Church and retired from Fieldcrest Mills.  She enjoyed cooking, working in her yard, and flowers. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Tommy Curry (Veronica) of Eden, and Kenny Curry and wife, Michelle, of Eden; grandchildren, Ben Curry (Sarah) of Eden, Summer Craddock (Brandon) of Stoneville, Travis Wright (Lynn) of Eden, Kayli Curry, Emersyn Curry, Charleigh Mae Curry, Denver Craddock, Declan Craddock, Scarlett Clark, Bentley Curry, and Kinsley Jones; sister, Oneeta Wilson of Cascade; and her beloved companion Sassy.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Curry; her brother, Billy Hensley; and her sister, Eldonna Brown.
