Lunette Dent Lemons

Lunette Dent Lemons age 90 of 910 Eden Road, Stoneville passed away at her home early Saturday morning May 3, 2014.

A funeral service will be held 2 pm Monday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Lemons was born July 16, 1923 in Rockingham County to the late Walter and Cora Bateman Dent. She was a graduate of Palmer College in Charleston, SC and a retiree of American Tobacco. Mrs. Lemons was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Eden.

Preceding her in death along with her parents was her husband, Jack Lenford Lemons; sisters, Maggie Dent and Connie Gitz; son-in-law, Tommie Amburn.

Surviving is her son, Andrew Lemons of the home; daughter, Jackie Lemons Amburn of Stokesdale; grandchildren, Meagan and Matthew Lemons; sisters, Rose McDavid of Fearrington Village and Connie Gitz of Kinston.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm Monday prior to the service at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home.
