Lula Alice Gammons Wilson,91, of 160 Brook Ridge Drive, Ridgeway, Va., passed away Saturday evening May 14, 2011 at Brian Center in Eden. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Gospel Tabernacle where she was a member. Burial to follow at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Wilson was born February 10,1920 in Cascade,Va. to the late John and Mary Denny Gammons. She was a homemaker and is survived by her daughters; Shirley Wilson Blackwell and husband William of Eden, Margaret Wilson Kingston of Ridgeway, Va., Brenda Wilson Morgan and husband Larry of China Grove, N.C., Betty Wilson Overby of Eden,and Judy Wilson Wilson and husband Leon of Eden, Sons; Lewis Wilson and wife Ann of Eden, Curtis Wilson and wife Roberta of Eden, Larry Wilson and wife Patrica of Eden, Jimmy Wilson and wife Kathy of Oregon Hill. 18 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 1great great grandchild. In addition to her parents Mrs. Wilson is preceded in death by her husband Harry W. Wilson, two sisters, grandson, Shelton Hodges, and son-in-law, Carl Kingston. Visitation will be Monday evening 6-8 p.m. at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the daughters home, Margaret Kingston 9063 Axton Rd., Virginia.
