Lucille F. Hurst

Lucille Rivers French Hurst, age 92 of 482 Shady Grove Road, Eden passed away on Sunday morning August 10, 2014 at Brian Center Health and Rehab in Eden.

A funeral service will be held 11 am Wednesday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Hurst was born August 16, 1921 in Leaksville, NC to the late Oscar and Etta Jefferson French. She was a member of Leaksville Christian Church and was a homemaker.

Preceding her in death along with her parents was her husband Earl Booker Hurst and sister Mildred F. Richardson. Surviving are sons; Sammy Hurst and wife Wanda of Stoneville, Eddie Hurst and wife Susan of Eden; grandchildren, Todd Hurst and wife Sheila, Amy Evans and husband Steve, David Hurst and Gail Coleman and husband Phil and Samantha Hurst; step-grandchildren, Monte Hurd and Robin Sexton; 8 great grandchildren; special cousin, Virginia Adams and special friend Earlene Hurst.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday evening at Fair Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. and other times at her home.
