Lou Ann Kallam Hill

Lou Ann Kallam Hill, 88, passed away on Friday, October 28th at UNC Chapel Hill.

A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, November 2nd at 11:00am in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Reidsville, NC.

Ann was born July 25, 1934 to the late Samuel Kallam and Mattie Gibson Kallam in Rockingham County.  She was a member of the Riverview Presbyterian Church.  Ann worked for 10 years at Hanes in Martinsville, VA as a Packer.  She loved her family and was a caregiver to most of them over the years.

She is survived by her daughter, Lou Wall of Eden; grandchildren, Jacob Wall of Stoneville, Ashley Dawson of Summerville, GA; great- grandchildren, Tristen Dawson, Trent Dawson and Tripp Dawson.  Ann is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Eldridge "Ray" Hill; a son, Mark Hill; grandson, Joshua Hill; brothers and sisters; Allen “Pete” Kallam, Katherine Kallam Ratliff, Jack Kallam, Gilda Lee, Durwood Kallam, Margaret Almond, Wallace Kallam, Jim Kallam.
