Lorene Hale Evans

Lorene Hale Evans, 77, of 808 Clarkway Dr., passed away Saturday evening, July 13th, 2013 at her home. The family will have a memorial service Wednesday, July 17th, 7:00 pm at the home. Fair Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Evans was born May 19, 1936 in Draper NC to the late Alfred and Lucinda Joyce Hale. She was a member of the Gospel Tabernacle for 25 years, and retired from Spray Cotton Mills after 33 years of service.

Surviving are her two sons; Frankie Evans and wife Cindy of Eden, Mack Evans and daughter Jessica Brooke Evans of Eden, four daughters; Judy Evans of Eden, Cindy Samuels and husband Calvin of Dry Fork, VA, Belinda Evans of Eden, and Cathy Rorrer Eden, two brothers; John Hale of Eden, and Ralph Hale of Ridgeway, VA, one sister Janice Bouldin of Eden, ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Jackson Evans, one son Jessie Evans, four brothers; Claude Hale, George Hale, Charles Hale, Carl Hale, and two sisters Nannie Bet Hale and Vivian Coleman.
