Lois Marie Webb Joyce

Lois Marie Webb Joyce, 82, of 615 Forbes Street, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at her home. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, December 17, at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Eden. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Joyce was born May 4, 1929 in Spray, NC, daughter of the late Buford and Lottie Joyce Webb. She was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church. Mrs. Joyce was a former member of the Friends Club and an avid Bingo player. She was a retiree of Fieldcrest Mills. Surviving is her daughter, Debbie Rhodes and husband, Anthony of Eden; sons, Ronald Joyce and wife, Betty of Reidsville and Tony Joyce and wife, Luanne of Eden; grandsons, Matthew Joyce and Adam Rhodes and wife, Shannon; granddaughter, Vicky Carter; great-granddaughter, Addison Rhodes; numerous loving nieces and nephews; and her special friend, Judy Carter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe Joyce; two brothers; and three sisters. The family will receive friends Friday evening, 7 - 9 PM at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
