Linda Ann Lewis

Linda Ann Lewis, 81, born February 1st, 1945, in Henry County, Virginia, to the late Alma Lorraine Foley and the late Walter “Buck” Foley, passed away peacefully in her home with her husband, Forsyth “Sherwood” Lewis, by her side.

A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday July 8th at Morgan Ford Christian Church in Ridgeway, VA with the burial to follow at Dan View Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter Regina and son‑in‑law Randy Stowe; her brother Lynwood “Peanut” Foley; her granddaughters Kimberly Smith and Betty McDaniel; and her stepson Michael Lewis. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son Jeffrey (Jackie) Harris; her daughter Angela (Jesse) Lester; her sisters Dot Smith, Pat (Dan) Cobbler, Judy Midkiff, and Jackie (Mike) Matherly; her brother Tony (Mickie) Foley; her sisters-in-law Pauline Seals and Faye Lewis. She leaves behind six grandchildren — Ashley, Greg (Sky), April (Martin), Teresa (LW), Tammy, and Daniel — and nine great‑grandchildren: Roclyn, Jaylee, Gracie, La’Niyah, Kaden, Mason, Lily, Ava, and Sawyer.

Linda also lovingly welcomed her stepchildren — Teresa Lewis, Renee Newman, Tina Pulliam Lewis, Timothy Lewis, Darrell Moxley, and Scott Parson — along with several step‑grandchildren, into her heart as part of her family. Linda was a devoted member of Morgan Ford Christian Church. She lived her faith through kindness, humility, and love. Her greatest joy was her family and extended family, and she treasured every moment spent with them. Her love, strength, and gentle spirit will be remembered always.
