Lillian Catherine Via Joyce Luther

Lillian Catherine Via Joyce Luther, 102 , went home to be with her Lord on Saturday morning (July 27, 2013) at the home of her son at 195 Oak Forest Acres in Eden. Funeral services will be held on Sunday the 28th at 2 pm at the Spray United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Overlook Cemetery. Lillian was born in Bassett, Va. to the late Pink and Betty Via on March 27, 1911 and was a longterm member of the Spray United Methodist Church and retired from Fieldcrest Mills with over 40 years of service. She is survived by her son; Jerry Joyce and wife Mary of the home; Granddaughter, Leesa Amick and husband, Kent of Eden; Grandsons, Tim Joyce and wife Tammy of Eden and John Joyce and wife Cassandre of Eden; 7 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great-Grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Fair Funeral Home in Eden are in charge of arrangements.
