Leonard Smith

Leonard Smith, 75, of 710 E. Stadium Dr. passed away Friday July 16, 2010 at home. Graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday July 19, 2010 at Mount Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Leonard was born November 14, 1934 in Caswell Co. to the late Jesse Smith and Loena Powers Smith. He was retired from Dan River Steam Station, an attended Draper Pentecostal Holiness Church. Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Barbara Hatcher Smith of the home. Daughters; Sherri Jarrett and husband Jay of Woodstock, Va., Kim Jordan and fiance Scott McEwan of Eden; and Lisa Wall and husband Derek of Madison, and Six grandchildren. Special caregivers Jeri Owen, Marie Clifton, Karen Smith. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, John C. Smith and sister Cathleen Aherron. Visitation will be held Sunday evening 6-8 p.m. at Fair Funeral Home and at other times at the home. Memorials may be made to Draper Pentecostal Holiness Church, 200 S.
