Leith Hundley Starr

Leith Hundley Starr was born June 23, 1961 in Roanoke Rapids, NC, to Keith Randal Hundley and Shirley Faircloth Hundley.

She was a 1979 graduate of Springfield High School in Springfield, VA and later went on to study Environmental Sciences. Leith spent a good portion of her life working in radio where she won several awards for her work in commercials. She also worked in property management and for the Dept. of Social Services in Craven County, NC.

Leith was well known for her love of animals and nature. Fishing was her favorite pastime and something she was well accomplished at.

Leith was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved sister, Vickie Hundley Rigor.

A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Fair Funeral Home in Eden from 4-6pm.
