Larry Thomas Odell, Sr.

Larry Thomas Odell, Sr., 63, of 104 Trollinger Court in Eden, passed away early Friday morning, December 21, 2012 at Morehead Memorial Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, December 27, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Odell was born October 21, 1949 in Martinsville, VA. He was a member of Gospel Road Baptist Church and a retiree of Hanes Brand, Inc.

Larry was preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen Higgs Odell. He is survived by his wife, Donna Smith Odell of the home; daughters, Diane Odell of Raleigh and Samantha Odell of Axton, VA; son, L. T. Odell, Jr. of Eden; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; father, James Odell and wife, Yome of Martinsville, VA; sister, Judy Odell Biggs and husband, Barry of Ridgeway, VA; and step-sister, Regina Koger of Martinsville, VA.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service (1 - 2 PM) on Thursday at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home of his father and step-mother at 121 Clearview Drive, Martinsville, VA and at the home of his aunt, Sue Moore at 170 Old Barn Trail in Stoneville.
