Larry Eugene Baulding

Larry Eugene Baulding, 81 of Eden, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at UNC Rockingham Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Overlook Cemetery.

Larry was born August 15, 1944 in Alamance County, North Carolina to the late William Eugene Baulding and Louise Terrell Baulding. He was a member of Draper Christian Church. Larry was a pillar of the community, serving with the Greensboro Police Department for 30 years before retiring as a Detective in arson investigations. In his younger years, Larry enjoyed fishing, boating, and skiing. He loved being outdoors and working in the yard. Larry loved his family and spending time with them.

Larry is survived by his wife, Florence Coleman Baulding of the home; step-daughter, Tammy Covington of High Point; brothers, Bill Baulding of Stanley and Rick Baulding of Mcleansville; sister, Karen Setliff of Eden; two nephews, Josh Baulding and Stuart Baulding.

In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his first wife, Sonia Baulding.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Draper Christian Church, 1122 Fieldcrest Rd, Eden, NC 27288.
