Kim Lane Roland, 65, passed away Monday, August 24, 2020, at UNC-Rockingham Health Care.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, August 28, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Military rites will be performed by the Rockingham County Veteran’s Honor Guard and the US Air Force.
Born January 1, 1955 in Pittsylvania County, VA, Kim was the son of the late Beverly Nathan Roland and Kathleen Turner Roland. He was a US Air Force veteran having achieved the rank of Sergeant. Kim was a former employee of American Airlines.
He is survived by his son, Brian Roland and wife, Erin of Eden; granddaughter, Kate Roland; and sister, Jan McKean of Richmond, VA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Starr Nichols.
