Kenneth "Kenny" Wayne Shockley

Kenneth "Kenny" Wayne Shockley, 55, of 825 Wright Road in Ridgeway, VA, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Hospice Home of Rockingham County in Wentworth, NC. A memorial service will be held at 8 PM on Saturday, October 1, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Shockley was born August 29, 1956 in Leaksville, NC. He was of the Baptist faith. He was formerly employed by Osborne Construction Company. Surviving are his wife, Diane Smith Shockley of the home; son, Kenny W. Shockley and fiancee, Samantha Martin; daughter, Billie Jean Shockley of Ridgeway, VA; three grandchildren, Nicholas Anderson, Brookelynn Shockley and Chance Anderson; parents, Clifford and Roberta Haskins Shockley; brothers, C. Ray Shockley and Chris Shockley and wife, Vickie, of Eden; sister, Lori Shockley Scott and husband, Freddie of Ridgeway, VA; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Terry and Julia Davidson and Burt Hale. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening, two hours prior to the memorial service (6 - 8 PM) at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.
