Kay Richardson Kallam, 85 of Stoneville, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at Ancora Compassionate Care in Reidsville.
A funeral service will be held at 2pm Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 5-7pm Friday, June 13, 2025 at Fair Funeral Home.
Kay was born June 16, 1939 in Mayodan, NC, to the late Alfred Richardson and Mildred Young Richardson. She was a member of Stoneville Presbyterian Church. Kay was very active in church, serving in several leadership roles. She worked as a Lab Tech at Baxter Kelly and retired from UNIFI. Kay enjoyed painting in oils and acrylics. She loved to bake and share her goodies with family, friends, and neighbors. Kay was known for her delicious poundcakes. She was beautiful on the inside and out.
Surviving are her daughter, Dixie Kallam Brown and husband Mark of Stoneville; grandson, Nicklaus Brown and wife Lauren; and great-grandchildren, Andrew and Caroline Brown; sister, Joan Joyce and husband Johnny; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Kay is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Jackson Kallam.
