Katherine "Peggy" Cannon Bibee

Katherine “Peggy” Cannon Bibee, 86, of Stoneville, passed away Sunday night, October 4, 2020, at her home.

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, October 9, at Shady Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, 11007 W. Catharpin Road, Spotsylvania Courthouse, VA. 

Born January 21, 1934 in Albemarle County, VA, Peggy was the daughter of the late Henry and Zelma Truslow Key.  She was a member of Providence Baptist Church in Stoneville.

She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Roberts of Stoneville; two sons, Charles “Charlie” Edward Cannon, Jr. of Pilot Mountain and Mike Cannon of Stoneville; two grandchildren, Crisan Roberts and Victoria Roberts; numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren; and her beloved canine companion, “Peppy”.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her second husband, Everett L. Bibee, Sr.; her first husband, Charles Edward Cannon, Sr.; son, Everette “Larry” Cannon.; two brothers; and a sister.
