Karen Ann Collins Southern

Karen Ann Collins Southern, 59, of 700 McConnell Avenue in Eden, passed away Tuesday morning, December 22, 2015, at Select Specialty Hospital in Greensboro.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Monday, December 28, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.

Karen was born April 14, 1956 in Rockingham County, NC where she was a lifelong resident. She was a member of Hampton Heights Baptist Church.

She is survived by her parents, Andrew "Gyp" Collins and Jean Chaney Collins of Eden; brother, Jerry Collins; niece, Francis Collins Cochran; two grand-nieces, Makala and Caroline Cochran, all of Eden; and caregiver, Beth Travis of Stoneville.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday at Fair Funeral Home.
