Julie Elizabeth Thomas

Julie Elizabeth Burchell Thomas passed away peacefully at home on January 3, 2026. Julie was born June 4, 1962. A lifelong resident of Eden and retiree from Morehead Nursing Center, she has many people who will miss her terribly. Julie is survived by her husband of nearly 24 years and partner of 38, Ronnie Thomas. In addition, she leaves behind her son Ronnie Thomas Jr, daughter Dawn Thomas (partner Dewayne), daughter Shirley Roach (husband Donnie), son Frankie Thomas (wife Lisa), daughter Liz Gilley (husband Justin) and daughter Mary Thomas. Julie also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren David Thomas, Tara Ramirez, Tyrell Mims, Jaxson, Jordan and Riley Roach, Joey Vyhnanek, Alissa Walker, Laila Thomas, Grace, Bethany, Olivia and Elliott Gilley, Sarah Lemons, Georgia Thomas, Parker Lynch, Isabeth Thomas, and Benny Thomas. She is also survived by her sisters Mary Roberts and Cindy Long, and many others who all loved her. She was preceded in death by her grandson Harrison Gilley. There will be no formal service, however a celebration of life may be scheduled at a later date. Any flowers or arrangements can be sent to the family home at 209 Mebane St, Eden, NC.
