Julia "Annette" Andrews Simmons

Julia "Annette" Andrews Simmons, 86, passed away Sunday night, September 1, 2013, at Morehead Nursing Center. A private memorial service will be held Wednesday September 4, 4pm at Trinity Weslyan Church in Eden. Mrs. Simmons was born May 23, 1927 in Leaksville, NC to the late Manuel Andrews and Caroline "Callie" Cheek Andrews.

She was a homemaker. She is survived by her daughter Linda Compton Burrow of Eden, sister Mildred Andrews Eggleston of Eden, brother Bill Andrews of Eden, grandchildren Dawn B. Jones and husband Eddie of Eden, Val B. Pyrtle and husband Reece of Stoneville, NC, and Abby B. Hensley and husband Shane of Eden, great grandchildren Caroline M. Jones, Bennett E. Jones, Logan C. Hensley and Ainsley R. Pyrtle all from Eden, NC, and son-in-law Roger Boardwine.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James P. Simmons, daughter;Judy C. Boardwine and sisters, Ethel Andrews Edwards, Lenora Andrews Trent and Margaret Andrews Dixon.
