Judith Tate Brown

Judith Tate Brown, 89, passed away Monday night, December 5, 2016, at Annie Penn Memorial Hospital in Reidsville.

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, December 17 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside.

Judy was born August 13, 1927 in Spray, NC, to the late Herman Preston Tate and Clara Bateman Tate.  She was a member of Central Christian Church.  Judy saw everyone she met as a friend.  She was warm-hearted and generous and often said she didn't know why she was so lucky to have such great friends.  The family wishes to acknowledge all her many friends for their love and kindness.

She is survived by her son, William J.  Brown and wife, Sandy of Stuart, FL;  grandson, William Justin Brown and wife, Angel of Stuart, FL;  and great-granddaughters, Isabella and Hannah Brown;  and great-grandson, William Landon Brown.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Brown.
