Joseph Bryant Hill

Joseph “Joe” Bryant Hill, 93 of Eden, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by family, January 8, 2025.

The family will have a private gathering at the home at a later date.

Joe was born May 25, 1931 in Preston, Virginia, to the late Joseph Hill and Rosamond Bryant Hill. He attended First Wesleyan Church in Eden. Joe was the owner and operator of Hill Concrete, working for many years until his retirement. 

His loving wife, Edith Horsley Hill, preceded him in death. 

Surviving are his daughter, Mildred Branson (Don) of Eden; brother, Alfred Hill of Jonesville; sister, Elizabeth Burchette of Julian; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Ancora Compassionate Care and their staff, caregivers, Andrea Carter and Mary Stultz, and companion, Margaret Shockley.
