Jonathan Dean Edwards

Jonathan Dean Edwards, 42, of 149 Sterling Drive in Stoneville, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2016, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro.

A memorial service will be held 2 PM Friday, July 1, 2016 at Willis Memorial Baptist Church in Cascade, Va.  The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the home.

Dean was born March 2, 1974 in Henry County, VA to the late Howard and Kay Weaver Edwards. 

He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Tonia McBride Edwards of the home;  son, Michael Carter;  paternal grandfather, Howard T. Edwards of Virginia;  sister, Jennifer Edwards;  four step-children, Chantelle McBride, Jesse Boyd, Chyenne Boyd, and Ryan Boyd;  and five step-grandchildren, Serenity, Isabella, Joel, Ayden, and Landon.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Edwards and step-grandchild, Dylan Scott.
