John Stephen Thornton, 60, of Eden passed away Friday, August 4, 2023.
A private family burial will be held at a later date.
John was born February 5, 1963 in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Willie Jim Robertson and Betty Kellam Church. He worked as a drywall installer for Nationwide Construction in Martinsville, VA, for many years.
Surviving are his brothers, Michael Thornton, Timothy Thornton, and Troy Bateman; nephew, Chris Thornton; niece, Jennifer Thornton.
