John Malcolm Morgan

John Malcolm Morgan, 78, a loving husband and great father, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018.  

A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens with Military Graveside rites provided by the Rockingham County Veterans Honor Guard.

Mr. Morgan was born October 27, 1939 in Louisville, Kentucky,  son of the late John Lee Morgan and Dorothy Frymire Morgan.  He was a US Air Force veteran and former Commander of an American Legion post in Clinton, Maryland.  He was also a member of the Moose Lodge and VFW in Maryland.  John retired from the Washington DC Fire Department after 29 years of service.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ann Cale Morgan of the home;  son, John Stephen "Steve" Morgan of Charlottesville, Virginia;  three nephews, Scot Morgan of Apex, North Carolina, Daryl Morgan and Gary Morgan, both of Seaford, Delaware;  and sister-in-law, Eula Morgan of Roanoke, Virginia.
