John "Andy" Andrew Wilbourne

John Andrew “Andy” Wilbourne, 75, passed away Saturday, September 24th at the Hospice of Rockingham Co. (Gibson House) in Reidsville, NC.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, September 30th at 2:00pm in the Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will follow the service.  Rockingham County Veterans Honor Guard will render Military Honors following the service on the front lawn.

Andy was born May 21, 1947 in Roanoke Rapids, NC, to the late John Andrew Wilbourne, Sr. and Julia Crutchfield Hendrick.  Andy loyally served our country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Eden Rotary and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.  Andy loved working out at the YMCA and also was an avid golfer.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Marcia Lynn Wilbourne; daughters, Ashley Wilbourne, Leslie Turner (Stephens), of Eden; son, Craig (Tiffany) Nesbit of Southlake, TX; grand-daughter, Jessy Nesbit; sister, Betty (Paul) Heilig of Beaufort, SC; niece’s, Elizabeth Faulk of Charleston, SC and Rebecca Lira of Alexandria, VA
