Joel Dennis Fulp

Joel Dennis Fulp, 76, of Stoneville passed Thursday, August 25, 2022 at Hospice Home of Rockingham County.

A funeral service will be held 2pm, Monday August 29, 2022 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel, 432 Boone Rd, Eden NC 27288. Burial will follow at Mayodan Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 1pm-2pm.

Joel was born February 24, 1946, in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Colonel Roosevelt Fulp and Lucille Craddock Fulp. He was a member of First Assembly of God. Joel enjoyed going to the flea market. He never met a stranger. Joel enjoyed working at his church and at Morehead Nursing Center in his spare time.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Sarah Joyce Fulp; daughter, Toni Goin of Ridgeway, VA, step-children, Teresa Rakestraw (Larry) of Madison, NC, Michael Ashby (Robyn) of Mayodan, NC; brothers, Jerry Fulp of Eden, NC, Roger Fulp of Stoneville, NC, Raymond Fulp (Sandra) of Wayneville, NC; sister, Glenda Taylor (Simon) of Stoneville, NC; sister-in-laws, Ursula Fulp and Donna Fulp; 4 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Joel is preceded in death by his step-son, Brian Ashby; brothers, Larry Fulp, Junior Fulp, Maynard Fulp; sisters-in-law, Janice Fulp, Jenny Fulp, Judy Fulp.
