Joanne Harris Finney

Joanne Harris Finney, 70, of Ruffin, NC passed away early Thursday morning February 29th, 2024 at Eden Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.

There are no formal services.

Joanne was born March 15, 1953 in Rockingham County to the late Odell Harris and Norma Wyatt Harris Bailey. She was a graduate of Morehead High School, class of 1971. Joanne worked as a formula writer for Unifi in Reidsville until retiring in 2015.  Prior to her illness, Joanne enjoyed attending New Life Chapel in Eden.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, April Doss of Reidsville and Crystal Finney Wright of Eden; sisters, Linda McBride of Ridgeway, Va, and Becky Carter of Moneta, VA; grandchildren, Avery Wright, Tyler Wright, and Reagan Barford; great-grandchild, Ariannah Wright.

In addition to her parents, Joanne is preceded in death by her sis, Norma Craddock; brother, Wayne Harris; special nephew, Steven Smith.
