Jimmy Wayne Corum

Jimmy Wayne Corum, 58, of 648 Barnes Road in Eden, passed away early Wednesday morning, August 28, 2019, at his home.

A funeral service will be held at 4 PM on Friday, August 30, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends Thursday evening, 6 - 8 PM at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home of his mother, 380 Ward Road in Eden.

Jimmy was born March 19, 1961 in Eden, NC.  He worked for Osborne Construction Company for over 20 years.  Jimmy enjoyed motorcycles, especially Harley-Davidson's, loved four-wheeling, fishing, and just being outdoors.  He was a "clown" and a friend to everyone, always showing kindness.

He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Corum and partner, Bobby Sanderford, of Eden;  son, Ray Mounce and wife, Brandy, of Madison;  four grandchildren, Hunter Sanderford and Chase, Julian and Destiny Mounce;  mother, Jane Pugh Corum of Eden;  brothers, Philip Corum, Jr. of Eden and Jody Corum of West Virginia;  and sisters, Lynn Gilley, Gloria "Toodie" Stultz and Martha Daniel, all of Eden.

He was preceded in death by his father, Philip Corum, Sr. and sister, Lisa Corum.
