Jill Daw Respass

Jill Daw Respass was born on July 23, 1952, and grew up in Washington, NC. She passed away on January 31, 2025, in Denver, Colorado, after a long battle with cancer.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 11am at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at other times at the Caruso home, 659 Highland Park Dr, Eden.

After marrying her high school sweetheart, Mark, Jill lived in Eden, NC, for many years. There, she worked for Miller Brewing Company. Later, she retired as a Vice President with Bank of America in Charlotte before moving to Denver, Colorado in 2010. 

When Jill was diagnosed with cancer in 2017, she found comfort in her Catholic faith, her love for her Maine Coon cats, and the support of her wonderful husband Mark. At the time of her passing, Jill and Mark had been married for 54 years. Jill enjoyed landscape photography and spending time with loved ones and her best friends in Eden.

Jill is survived by her husband, Mark; two sisters, Nancy Ennis and Francis Edmondson; her brother, Ronnie Daw (Marilyn); nephews, Edward, Shawn, Colin, and Reiner; and nieces, Doris Ann, Dini, and Hyacinth. She is preceded in death by her parents and her son, Chris Respass.
