Jessie "Ann" Martin Price

Jessie "Ann" Martin Price, 75, of 236 N. Polk St. passed away at her home Saturday August 4, 2012. The funeral service will be held Tuesday August 7, 2pm at Fair Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow in Ridge-View Memorial Gardens.

Jessie Price was born February 9, 1937 in Rockingham County, NC to the late Jesse Washington Martin and Nora Haynes Martin. She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church and enjoyed doing crochet, needle work, and doll making. She retired from Fieldcrest Mills where she worked in the sewing department, and also from the Morehead High School Cafeteria.

Surviving is her husband of 58 years, Phillip Dale Price of the home, two daughters Delores P. Allen and husband Kenneth of Reidsville, NC, Deborah P. Peters and husband Taylor of Stoneville, NC, two brothers Don E. Martin and wife Fran, and Henry D. Martin and wife Shirley all of Clemmons, NC, one sister Clydean East of Eden, NC and two grandsons Kenneth D. Allen, Jr. and Jason T. Allen both of Reidsville, NC and one great granddaughter Parker Kwen Allen. Preceeding her in death are four sisters, Linda Talley, Evelyn London, Jacquline Heath and Arnella Foster.

Visitation will be Monday evening 7 until 9 pm at Fair Funeral Home, and other times at the home.
